Olympic Fever

The feeling is uncontrollable and comes about every couple of years when athletes around the world convene on one city in their quest for glory. For some reason, you can't stop devouring the news and watching the events. For several weeks, you can't get enough. It's clear: You've got a case of Olympic Fever.

Now there's a podcast that can help. Welcome to Olympic Fever, the podcast for fans of the greatest sporting event in the world: The Olympic Games.

Each week, hosts Jill Jaracz and Alison Brown explore the stories of the Olympics through its sports, athletes, officials, organizers, host cities, fans and more.

New episodes come out every Thursday. Join us for all the fun and grandness that is the Olympic Games.

Citius, Altius, Feverrius!

Feb 24, 2018

Alison's all dressed up for our review of the Women's Figure Skating free skate (or as Jill says, a Lipinski/Kwan redux). Then it's on to the other sports of the day--which turns out to be a lot, even though we're nearly at the end of the Games. We've got:

  • Bobsled - with Team Olympic Fever member Nick Cunningham
  • Curling - with Team Olympic Fever member John Shuster
  • Speedskating
  • Ice Hockey
  • Alpine Skiing
  • Snowboard

And Jill channels her best Chad Salmela as she watches NBC's coverage of the Men's Biathlon Relay.

We're down to the end of the Games -- and the end of our fundraising drive. Check out the PayPal button above for your opportunity to keep the podcast alive during the coming year.

We'd also love to hear what you think about the PyeongChang Games. Drop us an email: -- or leave us a VM at 530-763-3837 (530-7-O-FEVER).
